Our LEAF door lever handles are designed in collaboration with Norm Architects. This lever handle is unsprung, a type commonly used throughout Scandinavia. The handle relies on the spring mechanism in the latch or lock case to return to its resting position.

Crafted from a single piece of solid brass, the handle combines refined aesthetics with lasting durability. Its clean, architectural expression makes it suitable for both contemporary and classic interiors. The product is sold as a pair for one door.

SPRUNG OR UNSPRUNG -
WHICH ONE SHOULD I CHOOSE?
If your door latch or lock has a strong return spring, an unsprung handle is often sufficient. (Normal in Scandinavian). - If the lock mechanism does not provide spring assistance, or if you are using heavier handles, a sprung lever handle is recommended to ensure smooth operation and long-term durability.

SPRUNG LEVER HANDLES:
Sprung lever handles incorporate an internal spring mechanism that automatically returns the handle to its horizontal position after use. The built-in spring helps support the lever, reduces wear on the lock mechanism, and is particularly suitable for doors with heavy or solid brass handles.

UNSPRUNG LEVER HANDLES (Scandinavian)
Unsprung lever handles do not contain an internal spring. Instead, they rely on the spring mechanism inside the latch or lock case to return the handle to its resting position. Unsprung handles are typically used with high-quality locks that already provide sufficient spring support.
